Resolution and release labels
720p, 1080p, and 4K describe picture dimensions. Blu-ray and WebRip labels seen elsewhere describe source or release context, not a guarantee of every playback property. This catalog does not attach unverified source labels to posters. Check the offered resolution on the service you choose.
A readable subtitle track
Choose the required language in the player. If customization is offered, increase text size or add a background when dialogue is hard to read. Captions for the same language can also include music and sound cues. They are not always equivalent to translation-only subtitles.
Picture quality beyond a number
A larger resolution does not by itself establish better compression, dynamic range, or sound. Look at the actual title offer and your screen’s capabilities. For a smaller device or limited connection, a stable HD picture may be preferable to repeated interruptions at a higher setting.
